Jawa motorcycles India lineup explained! Worth buying in 2021? | Jawa prices| New Jawa bikes pictures| Rivals

Jawa, the name is associated with the raw rambling engines in the battlefields back in 60s to the ride of the millennials or anyone who prioritize to ride a machine with rugged feel over modern sports bike even in 2021.

Jawa has been providing the one of the finest motorcycles to the world including India since 1960, and things have changed a lot since then but the things which might not have changed are the legacy and the DNA that lies within current lineup of Jawa. But is it worth buying it even when the industry is full of modern tech bikes?

In this blog we will introduce you to the whole lineup of Jawa and answer the question.

Jawa's current models in the market:

1.) Jawa Jawa (classic)

Speaking of legacy, the Jawa's jawa (classic) is the one bike which still look similar to the classic from 1970s. The fuel tank and exaust covered in white chrome, high stance and typical round headlight unit gives the bike the ageless design and persona just like Royal enfield's classic that is also loved by everyone even today. Ofcourse the feature list of current jawa have increased a lot than its predecessor lookalike.

The 2021 bs6 Jawa classic comes with 293cc 4 stroke engine with 1 or optional two disc brakes. Price starting from 1,77 lacs to 1,86 lacs.

Major rivals: Royal enfield classic/bullet ,Benelli imperale 400.

2.) Jawa 42 or 42 2.1

For the people who demand the hot and modern looks with legendary feel, feedback and stance of jawa the store isn't empty for them as well. The jawa 42 is a package of the shorter cruiser bike than the classic with more sporty elements. Also, Jawa launched even more sportier variant of 42 last year, 2.1 with matte black color option and even bar end mirror making it even more attractive for youth.

The 42 comes with liquid cooled same 293cc engine and prices starts from 1.6 lacs and additional 20k from the new 2.1 mod.

Major rivals: Royal Enfield meteor 350, Honda H'ness/rs.

3.) Jawa Perak

Turns out that Jawa 42 is not the only head turner in the lineup. The last element of this list is the Jawa perak is the every boy's crush since its launch back in november 2019. The Jawa broke the typical stereotype of the Indian moto market by the single seater bobber, Perak. This prouduct of Jawa done so well in the market that it now has a waiting period of 7 month!! The matte black color with tanned seat to the exposed mud guard and dual exaust, everthing just feels perfect in Perak.

The Jawa perak comes with the most powerful in the lineup, 334cc engine. Priced at 2 lacs.

Major rivals: RE classic 350, Bullet 350 etc.

Should you buy a Jawa in 2021?

Cruiser bikes deliver a different kind of feels in its rev that budget sports bike fails to deliver. Though it gets lesser features but the sacrifice justifies once you become an owner.
